Install the CLI, sign in, understand the building blocks, and run your first capability.

Start with the CLI. Sign in with the account invited to your workspace, choose an Environment, and describe what you want to accomplish. Elyxis can find an existing capability or help compose what is missing.
- Install and launch the CLI on macOS, Windows, or Linux.
- Sign in and choose an Environment.
- Try the prepared Beta Testing scenarios—the sample data and connections are ready for you.
- Explore the sample businesses and projects and try queries across the portfolio.
- Prepare Sandbox and create your first capability when you want to build from scratch.
Choose your beta starting point
Each tester has a separate tenant with isolated databases and configuration. Beta Testing contains the supplied sample data and prepared capabilities. Sandbox starts empty for your own configuration and capabilities. You do not need a database connection or your own OpenAI key to try the prepared scenarios.
The beta testing guide explains what to try, the current customization limits, and how to share feedback.
Understand the building blocks
You do not need to learn every term before making a request. These are the ones you will meet first:
| Concept | The question it answers |
|---|---|
| Environment | Where am I working, and which resources can I use? |
| Settings | Which configuration should Elyxis use here? |
| Keystores | Where are credentials kept, and how do I reference them? |
| Plugins | Which integrations and building blocks are available? |
| Flows, Apps, and capabilities | How does an idea become something I can run and reuse? |

Get comfortable with the Assistant
Learn to make a clear request, answer questions and review confirmations, and check execution results.
If something gets stuck, start with troubleshooting. The CLI command reference covers local commands and keyboard controls.
